Xiang Nuan took pictures with Lin Chuyan for just a little while, then discovered that Yang Ying and the others had all disappeared.

Xiang Nuan was curious: “I was thinking of taking some more pictures with Ying Jiejie.”

Lin Chuyan held Xiang Nuan’s arm and said: “Let’s go first. We may run into them later.”

The park was huge and bustling with visitors. Xiang Nuan felt that she had to keep her eyes open in order to find them amidst the crowd.

Xiang Nuan walked on the slab paving with flower petals falling around her and felt like she was in a dream. Then she heard Lin Chuyan ask her: “Do you want to learn how to switch to guardian angel in seconds?”

Xiang Nuan certainly wanted to learn that…...But when she thought about his freaking fast hand speed, she immediately shook her head: “I can’t. My hands aren’t that fast.”

“Your hands are fast enough, just needs more training.”

“Really?” She turned her head sideways to look at him and smiled: “Then teach me.”

Lin Chuyan curved his lips up: “But I can’t teach you for nothing.”

Xiang Nuan felt his smile could only be described as-- --up to no good. Yet she wanted to learn it, so she asked: “Then, what do you want?”

“You still owed me for calling me ‘hubby’.”

“You promised not to force me to say it.”

“I haven’t forced you.”  Lin Chuyan stopped walking all of sudden and looked at Xiang Nuan: “We are-- --” As he was talking, he slightly bent over to blow a puff of air near her ear: “It’s an equal trade.”

Xiang Nuan got goosebumps and turned her face to get away from him: “You, go away.”

Lin Chuyan straightened up and continued to walk holding Xiang Nuan’s hand. After walking out some distance, Xiang Nuan suddenly hummed in a small voice: “Hubby.”

“What did you say? Louder.”

“Hubby.”

“I can’t hear it.”

“Hubby, hubby, hubby!” Xiang Nuan decided to throw caution to the wind.

What Lin Chuyan did afterwards was rather playful. He hugged Xiang Nuan and with his height advantage, picked her up off the ground. Then he turned to go onto the grass along the path. Xiang Nuan felt like a tiny grasshopper in front of him, he could pinch her up however he wanted.

The two of them were standing under a cherry tree some distance away from the slab pavings. The umbrella which Lin Chuyan was holding up suddenly changed direction. The umbrella handle was resting in between their arms and the umbrella was now facing out towards the path to block the view from passersby.

The tiny umbrella created a space which belonged to only the two of them.

Xiang Nuan was about to say something, but Lin Chuyan suddenly lowered his head to kiss her.

She was surprised that he had the audacity to kiss her there!

Xiang Nuan was frightened, her body was tense like a zombie.

Lin Chuyan released her and said with a laugh: “Don’t be afraid, they can’t see us.”

“You, don’t…...don’t do that.”

Lin Chuyan tightly held Xiang Nuan’s waist to prevent her from running away and said in a low voice: “I’ve wanted to kiss you under the cherry tree a long time ago.”

“Lin Chuyan, you’re a jerk.”

“I’m still your hubby, despite being a jerk.”

They kissed in the end. Though Xiang Nuan knew that people couldn’t see them, she could still hear people talking…...The happy conversations and laughter from passersby came into her ears. She was too scared to move and just let Lin Chuyan do as he wished. She felt her heart was almost going to come out of her throat, like she could die on the spot.

Lin Chuyan was quite aggressive in the beginning, but slowed down. He stuck out the tip of his tongue to lick Xiang Nuan’s lips, used the tip of his nose to rub against hers as if to placate her. He laughed in a low voice: “Why are you so scared like this?”

Xiang Nuan believed that her reaction was a normal person’s reaction, only Lin Chuyan’s was an animal's reaction.

They came back to the path. Xiang Nuan kept looking downwards to avoid the eyes of people around them.

Lin Chuyan called her: “Nuannuan.”

Xiang Nuan felt like her heart was going to melt. She bit her lips and chastised herself for being  too soft.

“Nuannuan.” Lin Chuyan called her again. What she didn’t know was that when Lin Chuyan called her name, he felt like his tongue was covered with sugar.

His voice was so sweet.

“What are you doing?” Xiang Nuan asked in a small voice.

“Nothing, I just feel like calling your name. Nuannuan.”

“Maniac.”
