You’re Beautiful When You Smile
Chapter 108 Part 1
Lu Sicheng was going to take Tong Yao to eat. Little Fatty was planning on going with them. Lu Sicheng checked his cell phone to find the restaurant was a 15 fifteen minutes walk from the internet cafe. Without a second thought, Little Fatty opened the door to the internet cafe and said to the other two: I want to eat meat, make sure you buy meat dishes for me.
As the captain of the team, Lu Sicheng took the responsibility of ordering take out for the rest of the team.
Little Fatty went inside to sit down. Xiao Rui took a look at him and asked: “Where is the captain of our team and the young girl of our team?”
Little Fatty played with his mouse and, composed like a first rate actor, responded: “They’ve gone to eat.”
“Oh.” Xiao Rui thought about it and something didn’t feel right: “Why have these two been going out together so often lately? They were like fire and water, constantly bickering before, now they seem to be getting along quite harmoniously?”
Little Fatty didn’t answer. It was Lu Yue, who was playing a match next to Little Fatty, abruptly said without even lifting his head up: “I’ll be an uncle?”
It was as if Xiao Rui had been struck by lightning: “It can’t be? One can get pregnant just by going shopping?”
Lu Yue: “Think about it, what kind of decent man would lay eyes on a childish young girl like Tong Yao. My brother is an animal, a wolf in sheep’s skin.”
When he finished, everyone from ZGDX around him burst into laughter. Everyone was having fun with the feeling “it feels damn good to speak evil of the captain when he’s not around.” Only the comparatively righteous Ming god lifted his foot to kick Lu Yue’s chair to remind him: “You’re the same age as Tong Yao.”
Lu Yue finally looked up and casually took a glance at Ming god: “I’m bigger.”
Little Fatty had begun cracking up like a duck. Old Cat shook his head, claiming they were all perverts. It took Ming god five seconds to realize that Lu Yue was making a dirty joke. He slapped Lu Yue’s head with the clipboard in his hand and made Lu Yue’s slightly tilted head turn back: “Pay deduction.”
It was a joyful scene inside the internet cafe.
From beginning to end, only Dubhe hadn’t joined in. He was tucked into a corner, not playing matches, but constantly sending messages on his cell phone. He would erase the chat history after he sent out each text.
……
Lu Sicheng held hands with Tong Yao on their way to the restaurant. As they were walking Lu Sicheng kept mulling over one thing. It seemed to him that while he was focused on working with Dubhe and overlooked the team’s mid for a short half an hour, Tong Yao seemed to have somehow experienced some mysterious change-- --
If it was how she was before, Tong Yao would hardly ever put her hand into his on her own when they walked on the street.
It was an unexpected surprise when Tong Yao threw herself into his arms outside the internet cafe on a bustling street. Then after Little Fatty left them, when they started walking just after two steps, he felt his hand be suddenly grabbed by a smaller hand. The soft, as if boneless, fingers tried to squeeze between his fingers……
Lu Sicheng was a little confused at the time.
He even thought he might have misinterpreted her intentions. When he lowered his head to ask Tong Yao what she was up to, before he could open his mouth he was met with a pair of bright black eyes. The mid of his team eagerly looked at him and asked in a small voice: “You don’t want to hold hands?”
Lu Sicheng held his breath at the moment and felt a little unsteady on his feet. All he could think of was wanting to commit a crime right on the street.
He certainly wanted to hold hands.
He almost felt like crying out from joy right on the street. He would be a 1.85 meter high crying baby.
But Lu Sicheng still couldn’t resist the mischievous side in him. Seeing Tong Yao letting him hold her hand and walk right next to him, he couldn’t help but tease her: “You aren’t afraid of being seen holding hands with me in broad daylight on such a big street?”
Tong Yao was focused on keeping up with Lu Sicheng’s large steps and didn’t even have time to catch her breath. She wasn’t in the mood to converse with him after she heard him. She looked up and confidently said: “This is Xiamen, not Shanghai. What are the chances that we’ll be spotted?”
“All the players are basically here and all live nearby.” Lu Sicheng said: “Your fan group of junglers in the major league……”
Tong Yao: “......”
