The Most Majestic You
Chapter 25 Part 1
Xu Jimo seemed to have forgotten about her. She didn’t receive a single message. From the Weibo KG team chat group, she found out that they returned home right after her. Xu Jimo gave the whole team a week long break and they had all went away.
No one remembered to talk to her……
At the very least she was their boss, why did she become nonexistent the moment they came back.
Ye Qianxi got up early the next morning. She depressedly opened the suitcase which she hadn’t had a chance to unpack. She hung her clothes in the closet, put the shoes back, and all the other stuff…...hum?
She felt there was something stuffed inside a small pocket in the suitcase.
It was a very small pocket for a few pieces of paper at most. She usually wouldn’t have put anything in there.
With some difficulty, Qianxi put her fingers inside to pull the thing out. She checked it-- --a bank card. She double checked it to confirm that it was the card she had given to Xu Jimo.
When did he put it back? When she moved to the other room, he said he would move her luggage over…...did he slip it in then? That was the second day after they arrived at Seattle and he had decided to return the card to her. She had no idea about it at all.
Qianxi was annoyed that she had been fooled and turned on WeChat to ask him, “Why return it to me?”
Surprisingly, he didn’t answer, like he had disappeared from the earth.
The efficient Qianxi immediately changed her clothes to go to the base to get to the bottom of this.
She sneaked downstairs, bypassed the housekeeper…...luckily, her mom was not at home.
The sickly Qianxi successfully sneaked out of her home and rushed to the base. There she only found Wei Lai there doing his homework. He complained to her, “Jimo Ge won’t allow me to go to any commercial events, except all the necessary competitions and trainings. So I’m left alone to watch over the base. Qianxi Jie, are you looking for him?”
Qianxi shook her hand, “No, no. I’m here for you all. Do you know where have they gone to?”
Wei Lai spoke as if he had discovered a secret, “You’re lying. You’re blushing……”
Qianxi covered her face out of reflex: ohhh! It was because she still had a fever!
Wei Lai didn’t notice her reaction. He dialed Li Cang’s phone number while talking, “They’re going to another city, it’s far away. Anyway, they haven’t been gone for long. I’ll get them back to pick you up…...Hello? Cang Ge?......I’m not the one who wants to go with you!......Qianxi Jie is here at the base. Right, she wants to go with you…...Alright then, I’ll have her wait for you downstairs. Bye.”
The kid smoothly took care of it for her, “Done. They said they can come back for you.” He lowered his head and murmured, “ Cang Ge was very excited hearing that you’re coming with them.”
Then why did they all avoid her…...Was it an order from Xu Jimo?
The more she thought about it, the more she couldn’t understand it. Had she done something wrong? Otherwise, why would they all deliberately avoid her.
She waited under the scorching sun for a while. As she reminisced about the sunny yet not too hot summer back in Seattle, the KG van finally arrived. She asked as she got on the car, “Aren’t you guys on break now? Why is there still a group activity?”
Li Cang and Cheng Yang hadn’t recovered from their jet lag. They yawned and collapsed in their seats, “Young lady boss, you don’t quite understand our boss yet. Having a break only means that we don’t have to train, but there’s a lot of other work for us to do.”
Cheng Yang lazily spoke with his eyes closed, “For example, guest appearances, or to do guest appearances, and to do some more guest appearances……”
Qianxi didn’t know what to think. She peeked at Xu Jimo sitting in the passenger seat in the front. He looked out of the window without a word, leaving her a silent view of his back.
She thought to herself: Everyone seemed to be more lively now than the time when they had to back out of the game. Even Cheng Yang didn’t seem to be bothered by it . He should be…...shouldn’t be too unhappy now?
The kind Cherry thought she was still confused about the event today, patiently telling her that there was a manga convention today and KG was invited to do a promotion for the game, The Seventh Continent. Everyone except Wei Lai had to go.
Li Cang put an arm around Qianxi’s shoulder, “Young lady boss, don’t you worry. We’re just tagging along with our boss to show our faces on stage. Then play a few friendly matches, that’s all. We can go with you to have some good food.”
Actually, if it wasn’t for the fact that most of the more famous teams were still in Seattle, they probably wouldn’t be invited to this convention. Everyone knew about this and suddenly quieted down inside the car leaving an awkward silence.
Qianxi sensed the unusual quietness and kept quiet. She pulled out her phone to send a message to Xu Jimo, “Will I have anything to do today?”
Finally, Xu Jimo replied for the first time in the past few days, “You can go check out all the booths.”
Checking out the booth…...what kind of job was that?
“Oh, ok.” She decided to take the job first.

He’s disappointed with her. He probably thinks she’ll go back to her dad’s company now that she has gone back home
