1 Year Anniversary

Hello everyone!

Happy Anniversary!  It's Somesingman.

Sorry if things have been a bit weird about our new site and then the fact that it's stopped updating.  I've been ill twice in the past two months and school has been getting busy.  Hsi also got ill for like a week haha.

Anyhow, I'm still working on the move to a new site and will hopefully be finished soon.  In the meantime though since it's about 1 year since we started doing this, we'll be releasing a chapter of Tea of Summer every day this week.  It's also luckily spring break for me so I can recover and work on other stuff.

Song Qiyan seemed to look the same after being gone for a month.  He was not dressed in his usual casual T shirt, jeans, and cap.  He wore extra clothes because it was getting colder, a white shirt, a pair of cream colored casual pants with a khaki colored woolen windbreaker.  He stood tall and straight.  Without the cap, his clean-cut medium length hair was in full view.  He was standing at the door of Xia Liang’s apartment looking down at his cellphone.  His eyelashes casted shadows under his eyes.

Xia Liang stood at the turn of the staircase and watched for two seconds.  She walked down in a hurry when he looked up as if he had sensed something.

Song Qiyan put his cell into his pocket.  He lightly smiled and looked at her.  “Why are you so quiet?”

Xia Liang slanted her head, her ears turned slightly red. “Ke……”

Song Qiyan was clearly smiling now.

Xian Liang turned her head to look at him once more.  Then she noticed that the shadow beneath his eyes were not just from the eyelashes; there were real dark circles under his eyes. “Shixiong, have you not been sleeping well?”

Song Qiyan lowered his head to look at her, staring intensely into her eyes as usual. “Is it that obvious?”

Xia Liang pointed her finger at the area underneath her eye and nodded earnestly.

The exhibition tournament for <Secret Room Storm> lasted for a week.

The Chinese teams were notified that the competition would start the next day after the drawing.

Ai Qing had not played this game yet and she was not interested in the sponsor’s promotional events either.  So she left early with her backpack on her back and aimlessly walked around the streets of Seoul by herself.

As she stood at the Myeong-dong area, where they had a late night meal last night, now during the day time she felt like she was here for the first time.

Since she was just aimlessly walking around, she decided to visit both sides of the street back and forth randomly.

Here I will explain in detail why a 2-1-2 line up isn’t reasonable and why there has to have a jungler.

We can just use top lane as example.

First it's a problem with gold.

There’s only one lane at top; no matter how hard the two players play for gold, there are only a limited amount of minions.

For those who have played LoL for some time should know that there is only one result when two players play for gold at the same time: both of them will lose economically!

Therefore, it makes more sense to have just one person getting cs, earning gold. It will guarantee that one person will earn all the gold in lane. (it’s the same at bot.)

She lowered her head, pretending to watch the video, in order to avoid Gun’s eyes. “I certainly remember.  Your backpack is still at my home.” There was a fierce team fight going on in the video, with double kill and triple kill notifications going off.

But her vision was blurry.

She was choking up and couldn’t raise her head to meet him as she was afraid that if she moved, her tears would start to flow down.

By now, Xia Liang hadn’t seen Song Qiyan for more than a month.

After Song Qiyan sent the recording to her mailbox that day, she hadn’t heard from him for a week.

He sent her a voice mail a week later.

[Back in China because something happened at home.]

She had sent some other stuff to him, but he didn’t respond.  Though Xia Liang was a little worried, she thought that she was not in a position to ask.  So she quietly kept her worries to herself.

Progress on the audio drama <Ting Yin Gu> moved forward smoothly.  Xia Liang, one of the lead roles, was encouraged by Bei Yan Da Da’s professionalism.  She changed her habit of procrastinating and began working very seriously and diligently on recording and recording retakes.  The director Mo Jiu, a member of the studio, heard that Xiao Yu had gotten the god Bei Yan on board, and began working like crazy reviewing the sound recordings.  Then he and Xiao Yu each made another copy of Bei Yan’s recording for their personal collection.  They took out their personal collection to listen occasionally.

“We will be famous! We will be famous!”  This was what Mo Jiu and Xiao Yu had been shouting around in the production group chat.

They hadn’t made it public yet that Bei Yan would be the lead actor.  But the information would definitely go viral in the internet voice over groups when it was announced.  Wouldn’t the fact that big god Bei Yan, who had been on hiatus for quite some time, had come back to do an audio drama make lots of fanboys and fangirls go into a frenzy?

Xia Liang didn’t care much whether the drama became popular or not. Every release would always have mixed reviews.  She would be satisfied as long as she had done her best and improved her voice acting technique.  She didn’t quite understand what being famous or popular was like.

The very last time she saw Gun was the night when Solo had announced the disbandment of their team.

It was early 2005 when the team won the Chinese Regional championship in Guangzhou again.

The team was in the heyday of their popularity, enjoying their golden age.  The fans talked about the team enthusiastically.  Apple Dog finally had the opportunity to go abroad with the team for competition this time, but all of a sudden there was news of the team’s disbandment.

There was no Weibo at that time. All the videos in honor of the team were forwarded everywhere like crazy on the forum.  It felt like an era had ended and made everybody feel that a chilly winter for CS was coming soon.
