“Yes, the police have issued a warrant for the arrest of the suspect. We just found out that he had contacted you this morning using someone else’s cell phone at 2:07 am. Do you have any news about him?”

Ruan Yu held her phone tightly and said: “No. I’ve just learned that he’s wanted by the police.”

“We hope Ms. Ruan won’t hide any information from us.”

“We’re at home, but since it’s the holiday, we have another student visiting us now and we are going to invite him to stay at home tonight. Didn’t you say that you’re going to bring a girl over as well? We won’t have enough room for you two to stay.”

It was quiet for a moment at the other end of the phone, then Ruan Yu heard a very steady and calm voice: “Don’t be afraid. Calm down and listen to me very carefully.”
