Chapter 32

In no time, Dt jumped onto the rooftop.

The moment he had a clear view of the rooftop, his heart sank a
bit, it was empty.

“Contact!”  97’s voice came through the earphones.  It was 30 meters
away on the other roof, the exchange of fire came through clearly and
a white flash from an incendiary grenade.

“Half a minute.”  Ai Qing quickly estimated.  “97’s team has encountered
the entire SP team.  They can only hold for half a minute. If Dt can’t arrive
in that time, 97’s group will be annihilated.”

By then, even if Dt and Grunt did make it over there, it would still be 5v2
or at best, a 4v2.

Though they easily defeated Taotao’s team in a 4v2, SP was on another
level.

In addition,  the rules of this mission were rather abnormal……

With the sound of snap, Dt shot a steel wire rope into the wall one floor
below the rooftop of the other building.

Grunt held the steel rope and slid down to the other building.  He slid so
fast that Follow, SP’s sniper, couldn’t track him with his rifle before Grunt
landed on the balcony a floor below the rooftop.

But before Grunt could steady his footing, a grenade flew off the roof and
exploded right next to the steel rope.

“Indeed, he’s truly SP’s best grenadier!”  Xiao Mai couldn’t believe what
he had just saw.  “The steel rope broke!”

It would was almost impossible to throw a grenade and time it such that
the explosion would occur right next to the steel rope!

Everybody knew that the steel rope was expensive.  Unless Dt or Grunt
gave up the offensive weapons they carried, they wouldn’t be able to afford
another one.  It would be a waste if Inin threw another grenade. They would
also lack the weaponry to retake the initiative.

But these two buildings were about thirty meters apart.  Except for the steel
rope, there was no other item that could let them traverse the distance……

Noise began to fill the arena.

The audience was discussing or arguing.

Among the five K&K players, Dt, the strongest player, was still on the roof
of the opposite building…...If he got off this one hundred meter high building
and climbed up the other building, then there was no doubt that he would
lose this match.

Within two or three seconds, an idea flashed in both Ai Qing and Dt’s heads.

Dt made the decision and was quickly calculating the furthest distance he
could jump.  “Grunt. Move on.” With those words, he stepped back to the
far end of the roof.

“Dt’s trying to make a running jump.  He’s betting. He’s betting that he will
have an opportunity to hook the broken wall at the opposite building using
the flying tiger claw.”  Ai Qing watched the man on the screen and clenched
her fist subconsciously.

How feasible was it?

Nobody has tried this before.

But if he was lucky enough……

A death notification appeared on screen.

“I’m out.  Captain.” One said in a low voice.

On the roof, the black shadow didn’t hesitate and began to sprint, jumping
at the last moment when he ran out of roof.  The dark shadow drew a downwards
arc as he flew across the sky.

And falling rapidly.

All of a sudden, he smashed into the opposite building, stopping his fall.

He had succeeded.

But his health was also dropping.  He had lost 30% of his health.

Dt listened to his character gasping in the earphones and told everybody:  
“I’m coming.”
