Undefeated - League of Legends - Book 1: Chapter 16

Book 1 : The Return of the Lost King
Chapter 16: A SOB Worse Than A Beast

……

The battles that followed were extremely lopsided.

Room 3 lost, lost completely!

There was jubilation on the room 8 side.

Last week, room 8 lost to room 3 miserably, but today they had achieved total victory and room 3 suffered an even worse defeat. They could finally raise their heads high.

“You lost!” Wang Qin couldn’t stop laughing.

There’s nothing better than looking at Lin Xu’s darkened face.

Lin Xu stood up, grumpily took out his wallet, and threw a thousand RMB on the table. “Hmph, a thousand, just enough for a week's worth of snacks.”

Wang Qin knew Lin Xu had money, but he also knew Lin Xu cared even more about keeping up appearances. Lin Xu would feel even worse when come Monday, the news about today’s defeat became the talk of school.

Certainly, the most important thing for Wang Qin was that he had successfully blocked any chance for Lin Xu to get closer to Yang Qian Qian!

Wang Qin swiftly took the money and turned to look at Yang Qian Qian.

Money or no money, that wasn’t the point. It’s the win that counted and the chance to get closer to the long legged goddess!

Yang Qian Qian loved to play League of Legends so much, it’s only natural to develop some sort of relationship while teaching her how to play.

Wang Qin was in such a good mood and was expecting the worshipping gaze from the goddess.

“Be calm. Have to be calm at a moment like this. I have to show my best side, smile, absolutely smile!” Wang Qin rehearsed in his brain numerous times how to respond to Yang Qian Qian’s gaze.

What, what happened!

Wang Qin sneaked a peak at Yang Qian Qian and discovered that she wasn’t paying any attention to him at all.

Shit, who was she looking at? There shouldn’t be anyone more cool than him here!

Wang Qin followed her eyes and found out that Yang Qian Qian was looking at Yu Luocheng with gleaming eyes.

Actually, everyone had surrounded Yu Luocheng at this time and were either piling praise upon him or strongly denouncing those of room 3.

This guy, Wang Qin had thought he didn’t know how to play since he had refused to come play with them every time. Who knew he would turn out to be the center of everyone’s attention!

Wang Qin would never know that his desk mate, Yu Luocheng, was this skillful at playing games if Sun Yang didn’t get dragged home by his mom!

Mostly importantly, he had tricked everyone by using an ID of a level 13!

But……

But, Wang Qin felt that he had brought in a competitor! !

All the glory had been taken by this guy! !

For a brief moment, Wang Qin felt Yu Luocheng was more of a threat than Lin Xu.

This sob was worse than a beast! ! !

……

“Come, let’s go get some food to celebrate! !” Fang Xiaomei was the first to speak.

“Sure, sure, sure! !”

“Hahaha, a thousand fell from the sky. Let’s go eat! !”

“Let’s go eat! !” Everyone was super excited.

The mass of people went out of the Longsheng Internet Cafe; they were still talking about the game earlier while walking.

Needless to say, every scene they discussed had Yu Luocheng’ magic claw in it. Everyone simply couldn’t stop worshipping him!

After people from room 8 left the cafe, those of room 3 also left one after another.

With such a miserable loss, Lin Xu didn’t have any appetite for food.

Even if he would pay for it, no one would be in the mood for it.

After everyone left, Lin Xu stood in front of the computer and thought about all the humiliation and ridicule he had suffered just now. The more he thought about it, the angrier he became until he threw a punch right at the keyboard!

“Bang! ! !” The keyboard flipped up and fell down on the floor.

“Hey, kid, what’s all the rage for!” A young man with dyed hair and plaid shirt walked over at this time.

Lin Xu was stunned. He quickly recovered himself and seemly wanted to please the person. “Mi Ge.”

“I heard you guys screaming and yelling a while ago. What’s going on?” Mi Ge asked.

“I lost the game. I played against those guys from room 8……” Lin Xu dejectedly said.

Mi Ge frowned. “How did you lose the game? Didn’t I teach you how to play? With your skill level, you’re more than capable to beating those students.”

“I don’t know what had happened. Room 8 found a player called Yu Luocheng who played Blitzcrank so well and crushed us.” Lin Xu said.

Feng Xiaoqin who’s still there hurriedly nodded and said, “That’s right, that’s right. That Blitzcrank was so powerful. We were all so scared of it. You don’t know that claw……”

“Powerful Blitzcrank?” Mi Ge laughed, somewhat arrogantly. “You haven’t seen the number one Blitzcrank in our city. I’ll show you guys some day, then you would know what is powerful. It must be that all you newbies didn’t how to move properly and got hooked easily. If I were playing Blitzcrank, I could hook you guys one by one too.”

“Mi Ge, you’re right. But I just can’t stomach it.” Lin Xu said.

“How about this, you invite them for another game some other day. I’ll come play them. I’ll absolutely crush them no matter how powerful that Blitzcrank is!” Mi Ge said.

“But, we only play class against class, can’t get any outside help.”

“Idiot, you can allow them to get outside help, too.” Mi Ge said.

Lin Xu nodded. He felt that it’s a good idea; he would let both sides get outside help and play one more round!

Lin Xu knew it’s difficult to get closer to Yang Qian Qian for now, but he just couldn’t let it go!

“But what if they get a very strong person to play?” Feng Xiaoqin asked.

Mi Ge squinted his eyes and coldly laughed. “Let them get one. If they can find someone who’s more skillful than me in our city, I’ll change my last name to his.”

Lin Xu stared at the misspoken Feng Xiaoqin. “Don’t you know that Mi Ge is the captain of the second-place team of our city’s LoL Internet Cafe Tournament!”

“Oh, oh, then for sure Mi Ge will crush them!” Feng Xiaoqin hastily said.

Mi Ge glanced at the ignorant Feng Xiaoqin and disdainfully smiled.

A bunch of students, there couldn’t be too many of them who really knew how to play LoL. Mi Ge truly didn’t think too much of these kids.

He would let these students know what a pro looked like, let them see the disparity in power.

By then, they wouldn’t call a Blitzcrank powerful simply because they lost to it. They hadn’t seen what a real skill was. Since he’s not busy, he would help open their eyes!
